Global Gear & Machining seeks a CNC Set Up for our second shift operation from 2 PM till 10:30 PM to support the GGM family, we are a gear manufacturer located in Downers Grove, IL. With easy access off of 355 expressway.

Essential Job Functions
- Follow standard Operating procedures, work instructions
- Perform tasks as requested by the supervisors/ managers
- Set up CNC machines (Various technologies listed), inspect the first piece, and get QA approval to allow production to take over.
- Make appropriate machine offsets to run parts to controlled specifications.
- Understand control plans, identify all gauges, and follow disciplines associated with the check frequencies
- Change basic tools (Inserts, Brushes, etc) proficiently, promptly, and without jeopardizing man, machine, or materials.
- Maintain accurate tool logs and adhere to preset tool change intervals as required.
- Troubleshot basic machine alarms
- Ability to read blueprints
- Interprets M7M /CMM Chart data to correct setup / operational errors.
- Pay rate range is $21.00 to $25.00 shift premium of $1.00.
