Reports To: Materials Manager
Department: Materials
Education Req.: High school or GED equivalent preferred plus some additional specialized training
Min. Qualifications: Knowledge of inventory control, attention to detail, basic math skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sit-down forklift experience, Microsoft Office, and working knowledge of ERP/MRP system.

–       Knowledge of Epicor ERP is a plus.

Experience Req.: Over 1 and up to 2 years
Primary Functions:
  • Perform cycle counts by working with the accounting Department personnel and fixing the discrepancies.
  • Review inventory exception reports and reconcile discrepancies for affected items.
  • Utilize ERP system to verify various transactions affecting an item.
  • Analyze recurring problems affecting inventory, identify causes, and report to a superior.
  • Perform random cycle counts as requested.
  • Perform count verification on incoming and outgoing receipts and shipments.
  • Physically issue materials to production as needed.
  • Perform inventory transactions within the system for raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy and cleanliness.
  • Communicate inventory findings using Excel and other Microsoft software.
  • Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department with daily tasks as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education – High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

 

Experience/Training – 1-2-year related experience or training.  For additional training requirements, refer to the HR Training Matrix.

 

Math Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
